The Dragon is Guelph’s source for all things comics, games, and pop culture.
Opened in 1998 by UofG alumna Jenn Haines, The Dragon has become a fixture in local culture, winning multiple Reader’s Choice awards in Echo, Guelph Mercury, and the Guelph Tribune. It even won the coveted Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailing Award, recognizing the best comic stores in the world.
The Dragon operates in 2 locations: downtown in Old Quebec Street, and in the South end at Gordon and Kortright. It carries new comics, board games, Magic, Pokemon, D&D, miniature games, and tons of merchandise, such as Pop Vinyls, t-shirts, hats, action figures, and more. With new products arriving every week, you never know what you’ll find! And they have a packed gaming calendar, with events 5 days a week.
The Dragon is sponsoring the Paw Patrol Meet & Greet at GenreCon!
